Island Park

Last week (Thurs-Sun), we spent time with Mom & Dad, Dave & Julie, and Carolyn & Tom (and all their kids) up in Island Park. We had a great time at the cabin, though it was somewhat off the beaten path, so it took awhile to get to the main road before we could head to West Yellowstone or other activities. Friday morning the guys went golfing at Island Park Village which was pretty fun. We spent time at West Yellowstone looking at some of the shops and also drove into Yellowstone Park to see Old Faithful and some of the geysers. Here are a few pictures from the trip.

Mueller Park Trail to Elephant Rock

I forgot to post about this ride my friend Mike and I did on the 24th last month. We left early in the morning on the 24th of July down to the Mueller Park trailhead in Bountiful. We rode to Elephant Rock and took these pictures (also known at Big Rock). It was pretty fun - I think we climbed about 1000 vertical feet on this ride.

Dave is riding, or is probably already done by now, the Tour de Park City today. He's doing the Super Century route (170 miles). Here is the course map. It looks like a long one - good luck bro! Just that much closer to LOTOJA :)

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad (Wilde)

Today (August 2) is their 45th Wedding Anniversary! Go out and celebrate!!!

At home recovering

Sydni is doing pretty well at home now. The surgery lasted about 45 minutes. Dr. Watson had to make a small incision on her wrist and move the bone into place with a special tool. It was stitched up and a new cast was put on (pink again). She will have this cast on for about 3 weeks he said. She is kind of bummed she couldn't go to the Primary carnival this morning with Brock & Kylie.
